Little Meru Peak Itinerary (3 Days)

Day 1: Momela Gate to Miriakamba Huts

  • Start : Begin your journey at Momela Gate (1,500m) after meeting your guide and support crew.
  • Highlights : Enjoy the lush forested lower slopes, spot wildlife like dik-dik, baboons, and giraffes, and pass through the magnificent arched fig tree.
  • Overnight : Miriakamba Huts (2,514m).

Day 2: Miriakamba Huts to Saddle Huts (+ Little Meru)

  • Morning : Ascend through grasslands and forests, keeping a steady pace to acclimatize.

Day 3: Saddle Huts to Meru Summit to Momela Gate
